How much do Tickets cost?

$269.95 includes all fees and charges except delivery choices. There will also be an option to pay for your tickets over time. These tickets will be 3 instalments of $95.00. Further details are listed below.

Will there be any additional charges when I purchase tickets?

No, except delivery options you can choose if you wish (including GST) Mail – $9.95 per order; SMS – $1.50 per order.

What time is the Pre-sale?

For those who have registered, the pre-sale starts 10:00am Tuesday 19th August.

What happens if I did not get my pre-sale email?

Your pre-sale email will be sent to you in the afternoon, Monday 18th August. You will also receive an SMS around midday on Tuesday 19th August when the pre-sale is open. If you have not received anything by 12 noon Tuesday 19th August please email info@goodthingsfestival.com.au.

What is the maximum amount of pre-sale tickets I can purchase?

How can I pay for my pre-sale tickets?

Mastercard, Visa Card only. We will also be offering a pay over time option for our customers.

I live overseas… How do I purchase tickets?

You can purchase tickets like any other customer. Please ensure you select the E-ticket option as we can’t send hard tickets overseas.

Where can I buy tickets in person once the General Public Sale starts?

Are you selling souvenir tickets this year?

Yes. After you select your event ticket you will see a 2nd page where you can add souvenir tickets to your order. These are custom designed with the festival artwork and not entry tickets

When will I receive my tickets?

Barcode PDF E-ticket: You will be sent an email containing a PDF attachment with a barcode e-ticket for each ticket you have purchased.
SMS: You will be sent a SMS with the information and a link to your tickets.
Mail Ticket: Please allow 14 days. You’ll receive your AusPost tracking number that will be emailed to you when the order ships from Oztix.
Souvenir tickets: You will receive an update on these tickets and they will be sent to you at the beginning of November. Please note these tickets are not to be used for entry but for you to keep.

Please bring your barcode, ticket, SMS or Oztix ticket to gain entry to the event.

Why must I provide an email address to purchase tickets?

This is so we can email your ticket to you or contact you in case of event changes.

What if I don’t have an email address?

You will need to provide the email address of someone you know and trust so we can send your tickets to them.

I am under 18 years of age, can I attend?

Yes. You do have to be over 16 to attend Good Things and YOU MUST bring photo ID to prove your age.

Why is there a change from 15+ to 16+

Previously all youth have had to be accompanied by a responsible adult. In discussions with the authorities, we have been able to remove this restriction so 16 and 17 year olds can attend by themselves but unfortunately patrons aged 15 are not considered an adult and unable to attend this year due to the change

What are the acceptable forms of ID?

  • Valid Australian driver’s license or learner permit (digital or physical)
  • Valid Passport (domestic or international)
  • Valid state/territory proof of age cards
  • Valid Keypass (digital or physical)
  • Valid Australian student ID card

What happens if i don’t have ID?

If you can’t prove your age and have ID on you you will not be allowed in so you must ensure that you can get one of the accepted ID’s before the event

Do i need to have a parent or guardian attend with me?

No, but you do need to provide details of a parent or guardian as an emergency contact when purchasing

Why do i need to provide emergency contact information of a parent or guardian?

In order for us to comply with the event approval and licensing requirements all patrons aged 16–17, must provide emergency contact details (name and mobile number of a parent/guardian or responsible adult) will be collected at the time of ticket purchase.

These contact details will be stored securely and only accessed in case of welfare or safety incidents.

Can I change my  emergency contact information in advance of the event?

Yes you can, communications will be made with minor ticket holders one month in advance of the event enabling minors the opportunity to revise emergency contact details.

Minor patrons will also have the ability to revise emergency contact details at the event by attending the Box office on event day.

pay over time faqs

Why is Pay Over Time charged more than an upfront purchase?

There are additional processing and administration costs in offering the pay over time function. Unlike many other payment options out there, we do not penalise you with large interest charges in the event of a payment default.

I've booked my ticket with my first instalment paid. What happens now? When will payments be deducted?

Your 2nd payments will be deducted 14 days after your initial purchase. If you purchased on the 19th August, your next payment will be on the 2nd September and your final payment on the 16th September.

Oh no, I missed a payment! What happens now? What should I do to avoid losing my tickets?

In the event of a default, you will be sent an email and it will try again the following day. If you default again we will try a 3rd time the next day.

What happens if i miss all 3 payments

If you miss 3 payments you will be in default and lose your tickets. We will attempt to contact you and reprocess the order every 3 days however you need to pay for your tickets in full otherwise you will not receive them and be unable to enter the event tickets.

I'd like to pay out my ticket early. Can I do this and secure my ticket now?

Yes you can, contact Oztix and we can make all the payments at once.

What happens if my credit card details change?

If your payment fails as your card has expired or be cancelled, you will be able to update the card details in from the link in the default e-mail sent to you by Oztix

Is Good Things an accessible festival?

Yes. We are committed to providing a festival experience that supports the diverse access needs of our patrons across all our venues. Each site is reviewed and adapted to offer the most inclusive experience possible.

Do you accommodate carers/companions?

We understand that some people have a need for a full time carer or companion. Good Things will allow a valid ticket holder one free entry ticket for their legitimate carer. Please purchase your required ticket and then email info@oztix.com.au with your current carer or companion card information, or written proof of your status as a Carer and we will issue you one free ticket.

How does the festival support patrons with access needs?

While every venue has unique elements like terrain and layout, our team works diligently to overcome these challenges and remove barriers. We strive to ensure a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience for all patrons. You'll find consistent accessibility services across the festival such as Accessible viewing platform, Accessible toilets, Clearly signed accessible entry points

Will there be an Accessible viewing platform?

Yes there will be. Due to the nature of the venues, space and planning purposes, we can only provide a limited-capacity Accessible Viewing Platform. This raised platform is specifically designed to offer an unobstructed view of the stage for patrons with mobility requirements, including those using wheelchairs or scooters, and their essential companions.

Do i need to pre-register for the viewing platform?

Yes, pre-registration is essential to secure your spot and access will be limited to those who have registered and received an accessible viewing platform ticket.

Patrons MUST register by completing the form HERE and it is a first come first served basis

Can companion card holders or my guests access the viewing platform for free?

Yes. Each patron who receives a ticket to the Accessible Viewing platform will receive 2 wristbands so you can enjoy the show with a friend. 

Is accessible parking available at each venue?

Yes limited dedicated accessible parking bays are available at or near each Good Things venue.

Availability, layout, and proximity to accessible entrances may vary depending on the unique features of each location, but we strive to provide the most convenient options possible.

All accessible parking spaces must be pre-booked well in advance to ensure availability. A valid, government-issued Mobility Parking Permit (or equivalent) must be clearly displayed in your vehicle at all times. To book please email your details to accessibility@goodthingsfestival.com.au

Venue-specific parking details, precise locations, and detailed access maps will be provided closer to the event date on our dedicated location pages. We encourage all patrons requiring accessible parking to review this information thoroughly once released.

What accessible transport options are available?

Are accessible toilets available?

Yes, accessible toilet facilities are available at all Good Things venues These are clearly signed across the festival grounds and prominently marked on all our event maps for easy navigation.

Is first aid accessible?

Absolutely! Our First Aid points are fully accessible, ensuring that medical assistance is within reach for everyone. Should you require it, our trained medical staff are also able to come directly to your location anywhere on-site.

Can i bring a service animal?

Yes. Accredited service animals are warmly welcomed at all Good Things venues. Please ensure your service animal wears their official ID badge or medallion at all times.

Do you have a sensory space?

Yes. We understand that festivals can be overwhelming, so a quiet, dedicated Sensory Space will be available at all venues.

These spaces offer a calm retreat with low lighting and comfortable seating, however, we cannot guarantee it will be totally clear of music.

Does the event provide sensory kits?

No we will not provide sensory kits however you are welcome to bring them with you into the event.

Please contact us at accessibility@goodthingsfestival.com.au prior to the event so we can send you a confirmation to show security if you have any issues with bag size or accessing the venue on the day.

Will lighting be friendly for those who are sensitive to strobe/intense lighting?

Due to the nature of the acts and scale of our production, we are not able to guarantee this and in most cases headline bands production includes strobe and intense light shows.

Do any of the venues have an audio loop installed?

Due to the nature of the venues, none of the shows will have an audio loop available.

Will there be changing places?

Changing Places facilities will be available in Brisbane and Sydney as they are existing venues, but not in Melbourne

Can i access support for hidden disabilities?

Good Things is proud to support the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Program, which uses the sunflower symbol to represent non-visible disabilities.‍

Patrons are welcome to wear Sunflower identification—such as a lanyard or pin—at our events as a discreet way to let our staff know they may need additional support or assistance. Our team members are trained to recognise the Sunflower and offer appropriate help.

Who can i reach out to if i need help on the day?
